June 2022

Dear Families, 

             I am pleased to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Jennifer Maurais and I graduated from The University of Vermont and got my masters at Antioch. My first teaching experience was in Pittsburg, NH. I’ve taught 3rd grade, 4th grade and 2nd grade in Milford. I’ve been teaching in Milford for 29 years.  I am very excited to begin a new school year!

Second grade is such a fun year with so many wonderful learning opportunities. In order to have a fun year, my most important goal is to create a family of learners. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is valued, cared for and respected. It's important to me that your child feels like our classroom is a safe place to take risks and to learn from their mistakes as well as their successes.

          Please call or email me any time you have a question or concern and I will respond as soon as possible. My door is always open should you need to discuss your child’s progress, a behavior, or simply share a concern. I truly believe that you are your child’s first, best, and most important teacher.
